We regularly come across people (even health professionals!) who have never heard of pelvic health physiotherapists. Yet there are so many people who can benefit from our services. Sometimes just two or three sessions can make a huge difference to a person’s quality of life.
And it’s not just about the pelvic floor muscles! Yes, we do treat pelvic floor muscle problems, but there is a lot more to it…. we are experts in the treatment of many conditions affecting the pelvis, abdomen, back and the pelvic floor. When you come for your first appointment you will receive a thorough assessment, and a treatment programme tailored specifically to your needs. It may include pelvic floor strengthening or relaxation, as well as other techniques, depending on what we find. We also have a variety of equipment available for use if required.
We see a wide range of women’s and men’s health issues and our focus is on both prevention and treatment of problems.
